NDS thanks Steve Fox for his dedicated service and welcomes new ACT State Manager Rey Reodica
NDS would like to acknowledge the great service of Stephen Fox in his role as ACT State Manager for the last six years.
Steve has been an engaging, knowledgeable and calm presence during a period of unprecedented change for NDS members.
A valued colleague and trusted source of information, Steve always endeavoured to put the interests and concerns of ACT members at the centre of national discussions.
Among his many achievements were the creation of the READY4 online resource library, the 2015 ACT Disability conference - which brought together over 600 representatives of this diverse sector - and the organisation and hosting of a myriad of forums and events to provide assistance to disability service providers.
Stephen’s last day with NDS will be Wednesday 4 July, and we wish him all
the very best for the future.
Rey Reodica will join NDS as ACT State Manager on 12 July.
Rey comes with a background in government - in both disability services and education - and more than a decade of experience in peak youth forums in New South Wales and nationally.
Rey has spent the last four years at the NSW Department of Education and, prior to that, the Department of Ageing, Disability and Homecare. He was the Chair of the Board of Governance and then the Chief Executive of the Youth Action and Policy Association (YAPA) between 2002 and 2012.
Rey went on to become the Deputy Director and then Acting Executive Director of the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition (AYAC).
Rey has recently relocated to Canberra and looks forward to meeting members at the Disability Sector Forum on 12 July and thereafter.
