NDS together with etrainu have developed a Literacy and Numeracy for the Disability Workforce eLearning.  

Designed to provide disability workers with the literacy and numeracy skills they need to succeed in their roles, there are two courses in the bundle:  

1. The ABCs of Literacy  

Through this course, learners gain the necessary tools and skills to confidently read and write documents that apply to their role. 

2. The 123s of Numeracy  

By completing this course, learners will be able to successfully navigate numerical tasks, such as budgeting and reading dosages, with ease. 

NDS has also developed a Workplace Literacy Toolkit to help employers gather information about potential and current employees’ literacy and numeracy skills.  

The eLearning courses have been designed to be consistent with the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3 which is applied to Certificate III qualifications.  

As the courses are delivered as an e-Learning, they are self-paced and can be completed online, anywhere at any time.
