NDS Launches National Learning & Development Practice

Having a skilled and responsive workforce is vital to success in a competitive National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) environment. To ensure disability service providers have continued access to relevant sector training and a national approach to workforce development, NDS has established a Learning and Development practice, named NDS Learn and Develop.
This new initiative was recently announced at the NSW State Conference via this short video.
NDS Learn and Develop has been established to provide quality, flexible and cost effective learning solutions from recognised providers. Central to this offering will be a national online hub for learning resources, making it easier for organisations and individuals to find the learning resources that best meet their needs, now and in the future.
NDS Learn and Develop's national program offering will complement state-funded programs and focus on five development streams:
- Sector Induction and Compliance
- Direct Support Skills Development
- Leadership Development
- Business Management and Operations
- Corporate Governance
