The Senate Select Committee on Job Security has released an Interim Report for comment. The report looks at the impact of insecure or precarious employment on the economy, wages, social cohesion and workplace rights and conditions.

The Interim Report recommendations address a range of issues relating to data, health and safety laws, the Fair Work Act, Fair Work Commission and workers compensation and urge respective bodies to extend their coverage and authority to workers engaged via online platforms.
