The NDIS Interim Price Guide 2020-21 heralds major changes which are unexpected and will have a substantial impact on the operations of many disability service providers. Prices listed in this Guide, and the associated Interim Support Catalogue, will be indexed and released by mid-June (following the national minimum wage decision by the Fair Work Commission).

In a disappointing move, the Agency is implementing a pricing methodology for group supports that removes the allowance for non-face-to-face time and requires a provider to share the cost of a worker between participants that worker is supporting. Members will recall the Agency was going to implement this last year but did not do so following negotiations by NDS. Non-to-face time will need to be claimed separately.
