The Australian reports that the Morrison Government has asked the NDIA to raise prices for providers, citing NDS as a ‘powerful peak provider’.

The Australian article says that the NDIA board will meet on Friday 29 March to approve price rises of up to 15 per cent for providers.

It says Prime Minister Scott Morrison faced ‘intense lobbying’ from NDS and our Deliver the Promise election campaign via television, radio and print media. The article also recognises NDS’s pioneering campaign for the NDIS under Julia Gillard’s Government.

The article goes on to discuss the independent pricing review proposals that were delivered in February 2018, and the current pricing issues in the NDIS.
