Imminent announcement on NDIS pricing for group-based supports

New pricing arrangements for NDIS-funded group-based supports were introduced in July 2020. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the transition to the new pricing was extended to 1 July this year.Â
NDS undertook extensive consultation with the sector in late 2022 to better understand the barriers to transition. The process identified some administrative impacts in implementing the changes and we passed our concerns on to the NDIA. Â
In recognising these challenges, the NDIA will soon make small amendments to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2022â23, including a short-term extension to the transition period for six months to allow providers to successfully transition to the new pricing arrangements.Â
