ILC Jurisdictional Grants close 30 November: NDS holding webinar
Information, Linkages and Capacity (ILC) is an important aspect of delivering the outcomes of the National Disability Insurance Scheme. ILC aims to support people with a disability to develop their capacity to achieve their goals and also provide people with a disability to be included and access all aspects of community life.
To support these goals, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has announced that applications for the next round of ILC Jurisdictional Based Grants for NSW, South Australia and the ACT opened on 24 October 2017 and will close at 2.00pm (ESDT) on 30 November 2017.
To assist organisations working on their applications for this ILC round, NDS will be holding a webinar on Thursday 16 November 2017, from 1:30 to 2:30pm.
The webinar will:
- Provide a brief overview of the ILC grant
- Work through an example using the ILC Story Builder tool
- Offer specific tips to help providers prepare their submissions
The webinar would be most suitable for organisations who are less experienced and less confident in preparing and developing grants proposals.
To get the most of the webinar, we suggest that providers familiarise themselves with ILC policy and have watched the NDIA ILC Information Webcast, as well as review the application forms available on the Community Grants Hub website.
Spots are limited to 50 delegates, so we encourage you to sign up quickly. We are giving preference to one delegate per organisation. We will also record the session and release it to all members.
Date: 16 November 2017
Time: 1:30 - 2:30pm ESDT
Location: NSW, ACT and SA (online)
The webinar will be hosted by Edwina Pickering, Sector Support Consultant in NSW, and Karen Stace, NSW Sector Operations Manager.
