The Victorian Government, through the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), owns half of the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) in Victoria. The department is reviewing its policies about how it manages this SDA.

The following draft policies are now available for comment on Engage Victoria by residents, their families and carers, Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers and other interested parties:

  1. Business practice manual
  2. Offering residency in SDA manual
  3. Residency management manual
  4. Maintenance and property management manual
NDS will be making a submission and we invite input from providers to inform our paper.
