The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has released its latest Decision on substantive issues in the review of the SCHADS Award on 18 October 2021.

The earlier May Decision set a new minimum engagement of 2 hours for part-time employees.
The October decision provides for transitional arrangements regarding process and notice periods for some part-time employees whose agreed pattern of hours prior to 1 February 2022 include shifts of less than 2 hours and which will need to be varied to comply with the award.
