An NDS Working Group of providers is being created in Tasmania to consider impending changes to accommodation supports. It is calling for expressions of interest from members to inform NDS policy positions.

Topics to be covered as part of the working groups include pricing structures, accommodation supply - including impact on large residential services - and transport funding.

The Working Party will also provide input for two Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) policies relating to supported accommodation providers, namely, updating the current Filling of Residential Vacancies Policy and Supporting Individuals with Disability with Financial Management.
