The Department of Social Services has released a DES update covering issues around Star Ratings, Formal Performance Assessments, COVID-19 Flexibilities and the current Assurance Program.

NDS has been advocating for a pause in the formal performance assessments. We believe that providers should have the opportunity to understand their current position and have the opportunity to implement strategies that allow them to improve their performance in sites that are below the national average.
