Disability Workforce Development and Retention Fund in WA

Disability providers across Western Australia are experiencing high staff turnover. It is more important than ever to build the capability of the existing workforce and retain great workers in our sector.
National Disability Services in WA is pleased to invite NDIS registered providers and/or NDIS funded services such as Remote Community Connector (RCC) organisations operating and delivering disability services in Western Australia, to apply to the Disability Workforce Development and Retention Fund.
Grants of up to $200,000 for single organisations and $300,000 for consortiums will be available to organisations to identify and trial innovative place-based and/or organisational strategies to expand workforce development and retain their workforce.
To be eligible for a grant, organisations must:
- Be an NDIS registered provider and/or NDIS-funded service such as a Remote Community Connector (RCC) organisation
- Employ less than 300 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees in disability service provision.
- Demonstrate that they are actively delivering disability services in the region/s in which they propose to undertake their project.
Applications are now open and must be lodged by 5:00pm, 12 August 2022. No late applications will be accepted.
