The DES Performance Framework Review Working Group has met to begin developing recommendations for the government. The group’s first meeting focused on:

The 52 Week Outcome

Under the new performance framework, the 52 Week Sustainability Indicator will be replaced by a 52 Week Outcome Performance Measure.  52 Week Outcomes will only be paid employment placements. After a participant achieves a 26 Week Outcome, they will have the choice of continuing in Post Placement Support or moving into Ongoing Support and continue tracking to a 52 Week Outcome. The Outcome Payment will be payable after a participant achieves 52 weeks of employment, excluding periods of suspension and permissible breaks.
