The Department of Communities and Justice has released The Persons with Disability (Regulation of Restrictive Practices) Bill 2021. Consultation on the draft Bill which legislates how the use of restrictive practices will be regulated in NSW is now open and will close on 19 February 2021.

NDS will be making a submission and members engaged with the current restrictive practices authorisation process are invited to join us for an online consultation on Wednesday, 3 February.
