The Commonwealth Government has announced a $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) and a set of National Manufacturing Priorities. NDS members operating Disability Enterprises are encouraged to consider applying for MMI funding.

The MMI is intended to help Australian manufacturers scale-up, collaborate and commercialise. The initiative will provide co-funding for large manufacturing projects that will benefit the National Manufacturing Priorities across three targeted streams:

All streams will operate on a co-investment basis and only trading corporations will be eligible to apply. There will be no specific business size requirements and funding will be focused on supporting businesses to scale.
