With the new federal cabinet being sworn in today I am looking forward to working closely with the federal government to address the current policy challenges facing the NDIS.

I have written to Bill Shorten as the new Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Minister for Government Services, congratulating him on his appointment and seeking a meeting to discuss the implementation of the policy commitments made by the ALP during the election campaign and other current disability policy issues such as the economic viability crisis facing supported employment providers.
