The Victorian Government has released the final report of the Skills for Victoria's growing economy review into the TAFE and VET sector, identifying the Care Economy as one of three critical sectors for investment in training and education.

The review calls for a new independent body - FutureSkills Victoria - which would transform the skills sector through a more collaborative approach, creating potentially lasting benefits for innovation, effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, the review advocates for a focus on the Care Economy to enable Victoria to meet the needs for skills and innovation in health and social services.
