DSS has released a consultation paper on the Federal Government's National Disability Employment Strategy. The Employment Strategy will complement the new National Disability Strategy and is intended to identify pathways that will increase the number of people with disability in meaningful employment.

The strategy will take a holistic approach to disability employment and consider a wide range of stakeholders such as people with disability, employers, formal and informal support networks, mainstream and disability service providers, governments and the broader community.
