NDS’s Deliver the Promise campaign has been an incredibly successful political campaign. It has amplified NDS’s voice so that our members can be heard across media channels and by all sides of politics.

But we are not done yet! The Federal Election is being held on 18 May and we still need to get the message through about how the NDIS promised a better life for half a million Australians with disability and that there is more work to be done to make this happen.

NDS needs all our members to get behind the campaign and show your support either by attending a National Day of Action event, or hosting one of your own. Your own event can be as simple as sharing a morning tea with people in your organisation; inviting some special guests; or something bigger!

If you have an event of your own, make sure you invite local media, MPs and candidates if you can, and take photographs! Post photos on your social media pages and send them to NDS on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter – using the hashtags #NDISOnTrack or #NDISMakeItWork. We’d also love it if you could share our National Day of Action graphic!

We want our members to make some noise and make sure you ask for the five changes we need to get the NDIS on track!

For more information and resources on the Deliver the Promise election campaign, visit the campaign website, or the National Day of Action website.

Together, we can make our voices and issues heard across Australia. You need to bang the table, shout and wave the flag so our politicians and communities hear the wall of noise – Let’s Get the NDIS on Track and Delivering on its Promise!
