Prime Minister Scott Morrison is warning that the future of the NDIS is at stake unless ballooning costs are brought under control, telling AAP "To ensure the NDIS is here for generations of Australian's to come, we have a responsibility to manage increasing costs."

NDS CEO, David Moody said NDIS participants are able to lead full lives and could often avoid using more expensive supports later in life through early intervention.  Families and carers who would otherwise support people with disabilities could also go out and work, as could many participants receiving appropriate supports.
