In a media release issued late Friday following the Disability reform Ministers' meeting, Minister Reynolds confirmed that independent assessments would not be proceeding.

This is an exciting outcome that was hoped for but not expected from the Ministers' meeting and is an enormous boost for people with disability, advocates, providers and others who had campaigned hard over many months.
