NDS is excited to celebrate the 2020 WA Disability Support Awards with you. Finalists and winners will be announced from Monday, 22 June through to Sunday, 28 June finalists on the Disability Support Awards Facebook page

We invite you to join in the excitement each day at 10am as we reveal and profile the WA category finalists, and at 11am we will announce the winner.

Monday 22 June – Excellence in Advocacy and Rights Promotion
Tuesday 23 June – Excellence in Improving Employment Opportunities
Wednesday 24 June – Excellence in Innovation
Thursday 25 June – Excellence in Regional Support
Friday 26 June – Excellence in Home and Family Support
Saturday 27 June – Excellence in Supporting Social Inclusion
Sunday 28 June – Excellence in Leadership

This year more than 160 nominations were received across seven Award categories. Visit the Disability Support Awards WA website to view the full list of nominees.

The 2020 Awards were dramatically affected by the COVID-19 crisis, and the annual Gala Dinner scheduled for May at the height of the lockdown restrictions in WA was cancelled. We made the right decision to cancel the gala dinner, prioritising the health of people with disability and supporting the disability sector with their organisation's response to COVID-19.

NDS has found a new way to honour nominees this year and you can help us to ensure Awards announcements are seen by as many people as possible. Follow the Disability Support Awards Facebook page - like, share, and comment on our finalist and winner announcement posts to spread the word.

We also encourage you to share your nominee stories on your social media with a photo of your nominee and the person who nominated them (where possible). Use the Awards hashtags #DSA2020 #ItsTimeToShine #InclusiveWA

The 2020 WA Disability Support Awards are hosted by National Disability Services in partnership with the Department of Communities and supported by Lotterywest. Gold Sponsors atWork Australia, HESTA, Insurance Commission of Western Australia  and  Therapy Focus.
