Support Coordination: Practical Workshop for Service Providers

This one-day Support Coordination workshop will use real life scenarios and interactive discussion to explore and strengthen the understanding of the Support Coordination role.

The workshop will explore:
  • The 5 key stages of the Support Coordination
  • Goal-based support design, and community and mainstream support linking
  • Setting up funded supports relationships for capacity building and success - Unpacking COAG Mainstream Interface principles
  • Understanding Reasonable and Necessary supports
  • How to working with the NDIS price guide and budget flexibility
  • Conflict of Interest and how to manage
  • Planning and responding to crisis
  • Reviews and Reporting

The workshop focuses on tangible aspects of delivering Support Coordination to NDIS Participants and will build on the knowledge and experience of attendees to highlight areas of best practice.

Who should attend

This workshop will be relevant for both experienced and new support coordinators interested in reflecting on and improving how they support NDIS participants.
