The bulk of the evidence given today was from Afford’s CEO and Chair of its Board. Questions focussed on governance, use of revenue, training and site visits. 

Throughout the hearing, a key question which has emerged is the extent to which providers should adopt financial-focused and market-based principles given the context of the NDIS – and the implications where these conflict with the quality or safety of services.
