After persistent questioning by NDS, the NDIA has agreed that a provider that claims at a benchmark price for Supported Independent Living while a quote for that service is being negotiated will be able to make an adjusted payment claim once the quote has been agreed (i.e. they can be back paid at the agreed quotation rate from the date of plan approval).

Written advice we have received from the NDIA resolves concerns we have had about conflicting advice from NDIA staff on whether this was possible. NDS understands that providers will receive advice on this matter and how to make the adjusted claim shortly.
