New NDIS worker screening arrangements for the disability sector will commence in Australia from 1 February, 2021.

In Victoria, the rules will apply to people who work in a risk assessed role for a registered NDIS provider, including workers and volunteers.  A new NDIS check is required when existing checks are about to expire, or if a worker or volunteer is new to the disability sector.  In particular:
