13/10/2021

The NDIS Commission has begun its first own motion inquiry, which will examine the experiences of participants living in supported accommodation.

The inquiry aims to identify:

Arthur Rogers PSM, well known by Victorian providers for his government roles in the delivery of human services and most recently as the Victorian Disability Services Commissioner, has been appointed to be the Inquiry Lead.

The NDIS Commission’s website provides substantial detail on how the inquiry will be undertaken. It will include an examination of Reportable Incidents and Complaints that have occurred in connection with the supported accommodation services provided by a small number of NDIS providers that are large providers of supported accommodation.
