DHHS Releases Quality and Safeguard Requirements Fact Sheet

small group of people having a discussion

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has released a new fact sheet to help Victorian approved NDIS providers understand the transition of Victoria’s in-scope quality and safeguards functions to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1 July 2019.

This document provides an overview of the changes to NDIS registration in Victoria and outlines how the audits against the NDIS practice standards will work. It includes information about actions Victorian service providers can be doing now to get ready for the transition.

NDS will continue to support Victorian service providers throughout 2019 to understand what is required under the new arrangements. Providers can find more information about the changes on the NDIS Quality And Safeguards Commission website. Victorian providers can also seek answers to their questions on the new NDIS Quality and Safeguarding arrangements via the NDS Helpdesk.
