The Australian Government is seeking to align regulation across the disability support, aged care, and veterans' sectors. 

Broadly, the alignment activities seek to improve protections and ensure consistent quality and safety for participants/customers and to reduce the duplication of obligations for service providers and workers.

Two significant consultations have opened this week as part of the Commonwealth-funded alignment program. 

Input is now open on the Care and Support regulatory alignment consultation paper and the Care and Support Sector Code of Conduct.
