Royal Commission hears from state and federal public servants and advocates on education
10/06/2022
On the final two days of the hearing, evidence was given by state and federal public servants and advocates on education.
On Thursday, senior representatives from Western Australian and South Australian education departments gave evidence. The RC was interested in whether individual schools could make decisions about funding for students with disability. Both suggested principals have a significant amount of autonomy â although the SA witness suggested her state provided much less autonomy than WA.
