Royal Commission hears from peak bodies and the NDIA

On the final two days of the hearing the RC heard from representatives from peak bodies, First People’s Disability Network (FPDN), National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) the peak body for Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) and representatives from ACCHO’s and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. Representatives of the NDIA also provided evidence.

On Day 4 of the hearing, representatives from First Peoples Disability Network (FPDN) gave a full description of their ‘Ten priorities to address inequity for ATSI Communities in the National Disability Strategy and the NDIS’ [PDF].
