Royal Commission Update

20/10/2023

Continuing our analysis of the Disability Royal Commission final report, this update covers key recommendations for the NDIS workforce, including some quality and safeguarding aspects and implications for service delivery.

The Disability Royal Commission did not make recommendations directly to disability providers, because there is no single agency or peak body responsible for the implementation of recommendations.

Instead, the final report discusses aspects of what they call ‘promising practice’, drawn from their examination of systemic issues, which providers could use to strengthen the quality and safety of their service delivery.
