Disability Royal Commission: a vision for an inclusive Australia

The Royal Commissionâs final public hearing for 2022 (Public Hearing 31), conducted before all Commissioners, examined a vision for an inclusive Australia. The hearing explored models for inclusion and the realisation of human rights before turning to the progress and implementation of the Australian Disability Strategy.â¯Â
The Disability Royal Commission previously released an issues paper, Promoting Inclusion, which outlined barriers to inclusion and proposals for change.Â
Throughout the public hearing, people with disability, academics, experts, organisations, advocates and government representatives addressed key questions:Â Â
