Day Five of DRC Hearing 32 focuses on digital platforms and group homes

Day Five of the Disability Royal Commission: Public Hearing 32, service providers revisited, examined innovative approaches to disability service delivery, with representatives of Mable and Hireup, who operate digital platforms to connect service users and support workers.  

The Commission then heard from Synapse, Summer Housing and Summer Foundation, about their different approaches to providing alternatives to group homes for people with disability.  

Finally, Gerrie Mitra of the NDIA and Tracy Mackey, the NDIS Commissioner, answered questions and revealed what is on their agendas.
