Day Five of DRC Hearing 32 focuses on digital platforms and group homes

Day Five of the Disability Royal Commission: Public Hearing 32, service providers revisited, examined innovative approaches to disability service delivery, with representatives of Mable and Hireup, who operate digital platforms to connect service users and support workers. Â
The Commission then heard from Synapse, Summer Housing and Summer Foundation, about their different approaches to providing alternatives to group homes for people with disability. Â
Finally, Gerrie Mitra of the NDIA and Tracy Mackey, the NDIS Commissioner, answered questions and revealed what is on their agendas.Â
