In delivering the recent Federal Budget, Treasurer Jim Chalmers clearly flagged NDIS spending as a major structural challenge, sparking ongoing media commentary on the sustainability of the scheme. 

NDS has responded to a number of media enquiries on this theme and I’ve taken the opportunity in these interviews to remind people of the social and economic value of the scheme, while also pointing out that there are key areas where providers can suggest improvements in the efficiency of the NDIS.
