What you need to know

  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has released its Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits, effective from 5 May.
  • These arrangements include an expansion of the program of group-based supports and improved guidance on non-face-to-face charging.
  • The NDIA announced a six-month extension to 31 December for providers to transition to the new pricing.

Amended NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits have just been released with associated documents. These set out the pricing arrangements and price limits for providing supports for NDIS participants.

Following consultation with the sector, the NDIA amended the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2022–23 for group-based support. This includes an extension to the transition period for six months to allow providers time to successfully transition to the new pricing arrangement. The transition period, which was to end on 31 June, will now end on 31 December.

Other key changes include an increase to the duration for Program of Supports up to a maximum of six months and an expansion of guidance on claiming non-face-to-face supports.

For providers interested in hearing more about clarifications in non-face-to-face charging and the other changes, the NDIA will present at the Day Services Network on Wednesday 17 May from 3:00pm to 4:00pm AEST.
