NDIS Review Independent Panel provides further detail on the final report recommendations

In a follow up to the community and provider sessions held in August, the independent panel leading the NDIS Review provided more detail on the recommendations that the panel are considering in order to address issues identified What We Have Heard.

While echoing may of the areas discussed in the previous sessions, Review co-chair Professor Bruce Bonyhady AM suggested that the NDIS has been focused on individualised funding components and that it is time to focus on building the system of community-wide foundational supports (or those supports originally conceptualised as Tier Two and Information, Linkages and Capacity building) that would support the one in five Australians with disability.
