Free online workshop for disability service providers in Western Australia.

This workshop aims to increase understanding around why and when disability providers might need to investigate and give an overview of the investigation process once an incident has been alleged, observed or reported.

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their organisations preparedness for conducting investigations and write and action plan of next steps.

Participants will have the opportunity to develop an action plan for investigations and increase your organisation's:

  • Understanding of why conducting investigations is important for you as an NDIS Service Provider
  • Knowledge of the guiding principles for investigations
  • Capability in creating an investigation framework

What will I leave with?

Participants will leave with a copy of the presentation and any resources mentioned throughout the workshop.

This workshop will be delivered by Gudrun Gilles. Having been affiliated with the Western Australian Disability Services Sector since 1992, her industry insight and innovative approach to human services have helped hundreds of organisations deliver the best outcomes for their clients and communities. She specialises in guiding organisations on how to grow sustainably and achieve success – whether through best practice in the NDIS, building agile business structures or responding to government policy.

NDS Quality and Safeguards Sector Readiness Project WA

The NDS Quality and Safeguards Sector Readiness Project supports disability service providers in Perth metropolitan WA to meet the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Find out more about the project.

Who Should Attend?

Senior staff within the service who are formally responsible for managing and conducting investigations and are appropriately trained and experienced from disability service providers in Western Australia.
