Since 1 February 2021, everyone who works for a Registered NDIS Provider in ‘risk-assessed roles’ must have a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

While the NDIS check is an important measure to ensure the safety of people with disability, its implementation has often been problematic and led to significant delays in staff recruitment. However, in part due to sustained NDS advocacy, a number of improvements have been made to the Services Victoria NDIS Check system.

NDS is hosting a session to provide service providers with an update on recent developments with the check system, guidance on new applications and FAQs, suggestions for navigating the system, and an opportunity for providers to provide further feedback on the system.

Representatives from Service Victoria and the Department of Government Services will present at the session.

Who Should Attend?

Senior Managers and Executives, and HR/office managers in Victoria.
