Are you interested in improving your practice to assist NDIS participants to build capacity and promote independence, understand Supported Decision Making, understand their rights and safeguards and create a circle of support?

Join Tracie-Lee Little, ILC Project Lead, Power to You, Mamre, to explore Capacity building to increase autonomy of people with intellectual disability - A human rights approach.

This webinar will introduce you to:

  • ILC grants and projects
  • Some tips on Co-design
  • A human rights approach to disability
  • Free resources that you can use to support people with intellectual disability and their families

‘Power to You’ is a Free e-Learning program for people with disability, their families and supporters. It is co-designed by people with disability for people with disability. The project currently employs four casual employees with disability, who are co-designers and co-facilitators of events and peer groups.

Power To You is funded by an Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Grant from the Australian Government, Department of Social Services and proudly delivered by Mamre Association Inc. Attendees will have an opportunity for Q and A with the presenter at the end of the session.
