The NSW Health Minister has further extended the current exemption that allows workers who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to continue to work if they have been assessed as being essential to the operation of the service.

All workers who have not yet received their booster must also take reasonable steps to get the booster as soon as practical.

The exemption has been extended to 6 September 2022.

NDS will be meeting with NSW Health to identify future settings for the disability sector as government and health responses to COVID-19 evolve.

Members are encouraged to continue to contact NDS should we be able to assist in any way.
