DES providers will have a very full agenda in 2023. The consultation on a new DES program will continue, with NDS continuing to consult with the sector on what the key design features should include.A new Quality Framework is currently in draft format with the consultation continuing.DSS will release the outcomes of the Taylor and Fry review of the Star Ratings system and the underlying coding issues that impacted the last formal performance review and the subsequent business reallocation.This coming year it will be imperative that providers stay across these changes and contribute to designing the way forward.The Communities of Practice will feature updates on national policy development and issues and provide the opportunity for service providers to share good practice, discuss the latest policies and reporting requirements, and raise issues impacting supported employees.
