Measures that seek to address low wages and wage stagnation, particularly in feminised industries such as the disability sector, are welcomed by NDS, but there needs to be more consultation with the sector on significant changes to the workplace relations framework. 

The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022, which was introduced into federal parliament on 27 October, makes substantial changes to Australia’s existing workplace relations framework.
