What you need to know

  • The Disability at Work Conference in Canberra on 12 July will explore how to create a vision for disability employment that drives the engagement of people with disability in meaningful and rewarding work in increasingly uncertain economic times.
  • The program is almost finalised and includes a comprehensive range of high-profile presenters and subject matter experts.
  • If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, early-bird rates close on Friday 16 June.

The Disability at Work Conference is NDS’s one-day event on new ways to inspire people with disability to better engage in the workforce.  It’s for employment providers and professionals looking for ways in this uncertain economy to create employment opportunities for the people they support and explore the various intersections between programs and funding arrangements.

We strongly encourage employment service providers and other employment specialists to participate in this exciting event.

This year’s conference, in Canberra on 12 July, will look at three broad subject areas: future models of employment service provision that enhance the access of people with disability to work, current good practice in service provision, and an overarching vision for disability employment in Australia. The program contains presentations identifying the value of disability employment, the key issues and policies driving ongoing reform and the application of practical, innovative solutions.

We will be releasing the full program for the conference shortly. If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, early-bird rates close on Friday June 16.

You can register through the Disability at Work Conference event page.

Who Should Attend?

CEOs, senior managers, middle managers, and employment service providers from the disability sector.
