21/08/2022

Today the Federal Government announced it was in the process of informing DES providers of the results of the Formal Performance Review. The review will see eight providers lose all their business. 52 providers in total will lose some business. Approximately 15,000 (five per cent) participants with disability out of almost 300,000 will transition to an alternative provider.

On the surface this may appear to be a large number but is significantly less than in previous reallocations. It needs to be noted that only five percent of participants and contracts will be impacted.
