The NDS Employment Team would like to wish members a prosperous 2023, which is promising to be a significant year for Disability Employment Services (DES).  

The Department of Social Services (DSS) is consulting widely on their proposed DES Quality Framework. A discussion paper was published in December and public submissions close on Sunday 26 February.   

NDS will continue to work closely with our members to identify key design features and good practice in open employment provision. Members wishing to know more about the proposed framework and give feedback are invited to our interactive webinar on Thursday 2 February from 3:00pm to 4:30pm AEDT.
