WA COVID-19 update: More free rapid tests for people with disability and disability support workers

The Western Australian Government is providing 20 free rapid antigen tests (RATs) per person for people with disability and for disability support workers.

The Department of Communities will lead this Statewide distribution of 2.25 million RATs, in partnership with the Department of Health and Foodbank.

How to access the RATs

Disability support workers providing NDIS supports via disability service providers, and self-managed NDIS participants, can access their RATs by submitting this request form found on the Department of Communities website.People with disability, or a designated person on their behalf, can visit a collection site to request their RATs. No form is required. 

Collection sites can be found on the Department of Communities website.

All eligible individuals and organisations located 45 minutes’ drive or more from a collection site, or who cannot attend due to their disability, may request a delivery via the same form or an alternative contact method.
