Quality and Safeguards Community of Practice (CoP): WA Quality and Safeguards Sector Readiness Project
NDS hosts a bi-monthly peer-led forum for disability service providers in WA to share information, challenges and solutions on matters relating to person-centred practice, positive behaviour support, quality, and safeguarding.
The Community of Practice (CoP) is regularly attended by 60 to 80 providers across WA and gives its member an opportunity to connect, share information and problem solve.
The CoP provides a forum for:
- Fostering and increasing peer support and capacity building across the disability sector
- Sharing of good practice, knowledge, and resources
- Identifying shared issues of concern for discussion and consideration of strategies to address issues
Actions from the meetings will be provided alongside any resources mentioned throughout the CoP.
