Location: Around Queensland
Date: 4/04/2019 to 12/07/2019
Gladstone Rockhampton

As part of the Inclusion Ready Project, NDS in partnership with Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA), is offering free workshops across Queensland. These workshops will help organisations and businesses to understand how the National Disability Insurance Agency’s (NDIA) Information, Linkages, and Capacity Building Grants (ILC) can help them become more inclusive of people with disability.

ILC grants play an important role in the NDIS: they enable more people with disability to be meaningfully included in all aspects of life. This, in turn, will mean greater opportunities for businesses, with the NDIS promising to be the biggest driver of social and economic change across all industries in Australia.

With the  new national ILC strategy  recently announced, with big changes coming to the Grants program , this workshop will include information and insight into the NDIA’s new strategy and the planned roll-out of grants in 2019.

Who should attend?
Community service organisations, Disability service organisations, Indigenous and CALD organisations, LGBTIQ+ organisations, Local and State Government officers, Chambers of Commerce and Industry Clubs and sporting groups
Why you should attend?

Over the next three years, the Australian Government is offering up to $400 million to local and national organisations like yours, to help you grow your capacity to deliver inclusive projects that directly benefit people with disability. An ILC grant could help your business to build and grow through inclusion.
